Baptism is the combination of a physical action and a spiritual transformation.
Physically, someone is lowering you under the water and bringing you back up in a matter of a few seconds, however, SPIRITUALLY SPEAKING, something very significant is happening.
You are being changed.
You are being transformed.
Before you consider being baptized, here's a few questions to ask yourself.

Do you believe you are a sinner that needs saving?

Do you understand that you have sinned against God and that without Jesus stepping in as your Savior you will spend eternity in Hell?
Romans 3:23 tells us, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” and Romans 3:10 reminds us - there is NO ONE righteous - not even one of us! Jesus said he is the Way - the Truth - and the Life and that he is the only way to God (John 14:6). And, Acts 4:12 explains that there is no other name than Jesus - by which we must be saved.
