We are here to provide a Christ-centered listening ear from the church for married or pre-marital couples and provide an opportunity to assess and grow through a structured mentoring program.
What is marriage mentoring?
The Marriage Mentoring Program includes meeting with pre-marital and married couples looking to strengthen their marriage. At Current, we utilize the Prepare/Enrich program that includes 6-8 sessions (weeks). The sessions are ideally held in person and require enthusiasm for reconciliation and reflection in marriage but also maturity to deal with hard situations.
Note: We are not counselors, nor are we seeking counselors. We have an awesome referral network of professional counselors and have a process for referring to professionals when needed.

Love Your Spouse Challenge
Purpose:
CurrentMarriage’s Love Your Spouse challenge was created to encourage couples to engage in intentional, yet simple ways to build their marriage in Christ.
Assignment:
Complete five challenges in five days. If you cannot complete the challenges in five days, please continue with the challenge. If you can complete the challenges in five days, you could be entered into a drawing.
Guidelines:
-
Discuss with your spouse when your date night will be.
-
Make sure you have at least 4 hours blocked off.
-
Decide where you will go, and make it a nice place (but within what you can afford).
-
Decide who will make reservations ahead of time if it’s that kind of place.
-
If you have kiddos who need a babysitter, be sure that is in place.
-
Count back 4 days from your date night and that will be Day 1.
Example: If your date night was on a Friday evening then…
-
Monday would be Day 1
-
Tuesday would be Day 2
-
Wednesday would be Day 3
-
Thursday would be Day 4
-
That Friday Date Night would be Day 5
