Our Mission: Your Greatest Adventure

Our goal is to help our students on the greatest adventure ever: discovering who they are in Christ, navigating life with God's Word, standing strong in what's true, and boldly becoming someone who changes the world for Jesus. Everything we do, from our weekly meetups and cool events to service projects and even just hanging out one-on-one, is all about this mission. We want each student to know that following Jesus is the most purposeful, rewarding, and powerful way you can live!

We want to give you chances to grow spiritually and build a strong foundation as a follower of Jesus. Here's how we do that:

SUNDAY, AUGUST 10 & 17

Volunteer Fair - in the lobby after both services.

We're building a new volunteer team! If you feel called to guide young people toward a life devoted to Jesus, connect with our Student staff. Let's explore how we can partner together.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 22

Students Relaunch Celebration

Get ready! Our Student Ministry Relaunch is happening Friday, August 22, and the whole Church family is invited! We're kicking off the new season with food, fun activities, fall kick-off details, and some words from the Student staff and Pastor Darren. Don't miss the adventure!

Junior High - 9:30A
High School - 11:00A

The Ascent is a Sunday Bible Study that is specifically geared toward Junior High and High School Students at their respective times. The Current Students team leads an interactive examination of God's Word in an open group format. This isn't they typical school lecture, but a creative presentation of Biblical truth along with interactive discussion.

Wednesdays - 6:30P
When School is in Session

Basecamp is a time for students to participate in peer-led worship, receive Biblical life-application teaching from staff and adult leaders, and spend some time in a small-group atmosphere where the lesson really comes alive. And, there's never any shortage of fun and excitement on Wednesday nights!

THE REAL YOU

Your true self is found in Jesus. You aren't defined by your mistakes, how you look, or what others say about you. We hold on to the label He gives us, avoiding the traps of feeling like you're not good enough. We embrace the truth that you are fully known, deeply loved, and chosen by God.

2 Corinthians 5:17

YOUR DIRECTION

We let Christ guide us, not what's popular in culture. We work hard to study, understand, and use the Bible in our lives. We stand firm on the truth of the Bible. We hold on to what's right, call out what's false, and respond with both truth and love. We look closely at popular culture and decide for ourselves, instead of just going along with everything.

Romans 12:2

YOUR CHOICES

Your choices shape your life. Living for Jesus means picking a path that honors Him, even when it's tough. It's not about being perfect or following a bunch of rules. It's about trusting His promises and believing His way is what's best for you. This helps you live with integrity, obedience, and purity in every part of your life—at school, online, with friends, and at home.

Proverbs 4:18

YOUR PEOPLE

Your friends impact your future. The people you hang out with will either pull you closer to Jesus or farther away. You need to choose a tribe that builds up your faith, shares your values, and supports you when life gets tough or messy. Here, you don't need to pretend to have it all figured out or be part of an "in" crowd. You just need to be who God made you to be.

Proverbs 27:17

YOUR IMPACT

Your life leaves a mark on the world. You only get one life, so you need to make it count. To really step up, you need to act with boldness, compassion, and purpose. We make a difference by sharing our faith and serving others in our homes, our church, our community, and beyond. We're not waiting to make a difference someday—we're doing it now, leaving a mark that points people to Jesus.

Matthew 5:16

Being a Two-Hour Family

We strongly encourage your family to be a "Two-Hour Family" on Sunday mornings, meaning you commit to both service hours (9:30 AM and 11:00 AM). We believe that once you reach middle school and high school age, it's best for you to attend the main church service with your family. Our student ministry activities are awesome, but they're not meant to replace the entire church body coming together on Sundays. We believe families should worship together, pray together, take communion together, and hear the same message together.
