new here?

At Current, we want to be moved by God.
move toward, move forward, move outward.

Services: Sundays @ 9:30/11/12:30

Current is a warm and welcoming church made up of people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and walks of life. We come together to worship God in a contemporary and upbeat way. While we take God seriously, we believe it’s important to maintain a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere.

Services: Sundays @ 9:30/11/12:30

Our goal is to keep each service fresh and different. We want to creatively present the truth of God’s Word, the Bible.

Current Women

We offer Bible studies, special events, and service projects focused on the needs and interests of women.

Join us for THE WELL, our women's night of worship, on Tuesday, October 24th. Registration information coming in September!

This fall, Current is pleased to offer two Bible study choices:

WHEN GODLY PEOPLE DO UNGODLY THINGS
A 7-Session Study from Beth Moore, Tuesday Evenings, 6:30-8:30pm and Wednesday mornings 9:30-11:30am.

Christians are still subject to Satan's attacks. He is determined to disrupt the lives of believers, destroy their ministry, and steal their joy. Sadly, those who have "fallen" may not recognize the devil's schemes until they have already been caught in a snare of defeat. In this biblical guide to authentic repentance and restoration, Beth examines why devoted followers of Jesus Christ can fall into the traps of Satan and how to find their way back to God.

OR

RUTH and MALACHI
A 7 week Precepts study led by Amy Garner, Wednesday mornings 9:30-11:00am.

This fall our Precepts study will be diving into Ruth and Malachi. This seems like a strange combination of two very short books of the Old Testament, but they are well matched. Both are love stories. In Ruth, we will meet our Kinsman Redeemer and see our Savior who was willing to break down barriers to ransom us and show us His love. Malachi is a story of response. Will we reject or accept His overwhelming love? We will learn what it means to stand in awe of His Name and respond to His love. Join us for seven quick weeks as we dig deep into God’s Holy Word.

Study begins the week of September 5th. $25 registration fee includes materials.

Childcare is available for Wednesday morning participants. DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR CHILDCARE is AUGUST 22nd. $15 one-time fee per family.
Limited Tuesday evening childcare is available on a need and case-by-case basis. Please contact Barby Martinez, barbymartinez@currentchristian.org, 281-395-4722 ext. 1001 for questions or more information on Tuesday evening childcare.

Studies begin the week of September 5th. For more information and to register click HERE.

DVD-driven Bible studies are scheduled on a seasonal basis featuring Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, Angela Thomas and other noted teachers. Both evening and morning studies are planned with child care available at the weekday morning class. Advanced registration is required with modest fees for student books and child care expenses.
