Groups

A Life Group is a small gathering of adults who meet on a regular basis to develop friendships, study the Bible and grow in Christian faith together. As a growing church family, our desire is to have as many people as possible participating in Life Groups. Life Groups meet in private homes throughout the Katy community. The Life Group format may differ somewhat from group to group but all groups include lively conversation and food, Bible study (usually a DVD-driven lesson followed by discussion) and a time of prayer. Life Groups are also natural outlets for people to build strong friendships, care for one another and work together on meaningful service projects. Individual Life Groups are usually led by host families. General oversight of Life Groups is through John Faust at the church office who assists with scheduling, curriculum, leadership training, placement of new participants and establishing new groups. The Life Group is an honest, down-to-earth, come-as-you-are, welcoming environment where Jesus is the most important guest and the Bible is respected and taught. To get involved in a Life Group, you can (1) consider starting a new Life Group in your home; (2) submit your name and contact information to the church office and someone will be in touch with you about getting connected to an existing Life Group.
